The small peninsula suburb of Mount Maunganui had the largest number of contemporary residents I saw in New Zealand.
It was nice to see some well executed modern architecture on the island nation.

This bizarre building used to be the NZ Police Station for Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, Bay of Pleanty, New Zealand, 2018.
The police station has recently been moved due to water leakage issues.
